As an homage to Quebec artist Serge Lemoyne’s work, René Bégin created this dimensional mixed media acrylic painting. Lemoyne’s Bleu Blanc Rouge artwork was ubiquitous as Bégin grew up in Montreal. Like an old goalie mask, layers of plaster formed the artwork base and vintage goalie skates are featured in this very unique piece.
